Welcome friends and family! This page was created to promote the Daniel Scholarship fund. The fund was set up to help students from Chicago Metro, Chicago Suburbs, and Indiana obtain higher education and promote the kingdom values throughout their careers.  Please help promote by hitting the like button, sharing the page with friends, or donating to the fund. Who can apply:
Any member of I.D.D.P.M.I Chicago metro, Chicago suburbs, or Indiana that is or will be enrolled in a college, university, seminary, or trade school for the applicable semester as a fulltime or part time student may apply. Our hope is to expand the application pool in the near future.

Amounts to be awarded:
The amounts to be awarded depend solely on the contributions collected by June 1st (please help get the word out!). Any money collected after that will go for 2020 fall award. There is one guarantee winner for $1,000.00. We would like to award an other $500 and two $250 awards. There is a facebook page at www.facebook.com/TheDanielScholarshipFund created and updates will be given of what the awards will be.

Application process:
All applicants are required to write an essay on the following topic:

Considering the currently climate in our country, how can the church lead the way in promoting unity and how will you be a part of it?

The essay must be a minimum of two pages and a maximum of four. All essays must be typed, double spaced, font 12 . Please do not include your name on your essay, only on the application and pastor recommendation. You can submit your application package via email to [email protected] with "Scholarship application" on the subject line (you will have to scan your pastors recommendation, everything else can be uploaded via word document). All emails must be submitted by December 31, 2019 by 11:59 P.M. with no exceptions. Or you can mail your application package to:

Mail must be post marked no later than December 31, 2019. Winners will be announced on January 5, 2020.

To the winners:
In case of the event you have to withdraw from the applicable semester, we ask that you refund the award amount so that it may go to someone currently enrolled.

We hope that we may be more than just a scholarship provider for you. We also offer our time for any questions you may have during your educational process. We would like to meet with you monthly for mentorship.

If you are selected for an award, all we ask is that all that you do, you do full heartedly unto God. An maybe one day you can help the next generation stand on your shoulders!
